The weekend started strong with Haley Batten taking the victory in the short circuit race on Friday. Haley’s form has been great the last few weeks and this was a well-deserved win. Haley put in another super impressive performance in the XC race to take the silver medal and complete a career highlight weekend fo her.
In the men’s elite races, Chris fought hard in two really competitive fields where Mathieu Van Der Poel took gold in the short track and Tom Pidcock, a TRINITY Racing alumni, took the win in the XC.
It was also great to see our Brazilian rider Alex Malacarne make his TRINITY Racing debut as he worked his way from the back of the field to a really strong 28th place finish in the Under 23 XC race.
A short break for our MTB riders now before they head to Leogang, Austria in June for the next round of the UCI World Cup.
